Sqillpad is approved by the National Curriculum Development Centre. The platform also bridges the gap between rural and urban learners by providing equitable access to learning materials and also online and offline use. To assist the Ministry of Education and Sports in achieving its objectives, the Sqillpad learning platform will offer the following features and benefits:

Alignment with the National Curriculum: The platform can assist in aligning teaching and learning with the curriculum developed by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), ensuring that all learners receive a consistent education.

Monitoring and evaluation: The platform enables the Ministry to track content usage, learners’ interactions with curriculum topics, and teachers’ interpretations of the curriculum, providing valuable insights into the effectiveness of their educational initiatives.

Teachers’ Consultation: The platform allows teachers to consult with one another and with the Ministry about the NCDC curricula, promoting collaboration and effective implementation.

Compare performance by school, district, region, etc.

Sqillpad provides improved quality assurance mechanisms for monitoring and guiding content delivery to learners, ensuring that educational standards are met.

Sharing Best Practice: The platform allows teachers to share and document best practice with their colleagues, promoting best practices and assisting teachers who are struggling with concepts in their respective subjects.

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) was the pioneer sponsor of Sqillpad. Coming on board even before its launch, NSSF provided support to our pilot program that saw a select group of 21 schools participate in the trial phase of Sqillpad in 2019. As part of the pilot program, several students not only benefited from the power digital learning but also contributed to the subsequent improvement of the Sqillpad platform.
